Webinar Summary
Descriptive profiling is the gold standard in understanding a product’s sensory profile. This approach, however, takes a significant amount of time for recruiting, training and maintaining the panel. Additionally, it is too resource intensive for some project objectives, like sample screening. Because of these challenges, rapid profiling methods have become increasingly popular in understanding a product’s sensory experience. During this webinar, various rapid profiling methods will be explored, including: new approaches to trained panel Degree of Difference, sorting, and Check all that apply (CATA). The webinar will include an overview of each method as well as Q&A and discussion.
