Virtual Regional Meeting Call for Speakers

SSP will be hosting our next Virtual Regional Meeting on Thursday, May 22, 2014.  At this time, we are looking for individuals who would like to speak at this meeting! Talks would be 45 minutes in duration with time for questions and answers. We are working with SciSoc for Internet related logistics, all that would be required from our speakers is the presentation and internet connectivity! Our stretch goal is to have these presentations recorded and available to our members on the SSP website for reference in the future.

We are looking for talks that fit one of the following two categories for this pilot meeting:

1. Managing Complexity to Drive Clarity (essentially extending the main topic of the fall 2012 meeting to keep the theme of the meeting alive). This should not be a “repeat talk” from the meeting in Jersey City—we’re looking for fresh takes on the topic!

2. Sensory Methods and Techniques: Driving Innovation in How We Work. We are looking for some new tools here—what are you playing with that has shown promise?

Are you submitting an abstract for the fall SSP Conference in Tuscon? Want to give a teaser presentation?

As with all SSP talks, content should be relevant to the topic and the membership and should not be an advertisement for any service or product.

If you are interested in being a speaker at this meeting, please send a brief abstract of your presentation to Jason Newlon (newlon.jw@pg.com) no later than May 1, 2014.

We are excited about this new opportunity for SSP Membershipif you have any questions, please contact Jason Newlon, Chair-Elect and Virtual Regional Meeting Coordinator (newlon.jw@pg.com) or Suzanne Pecore, Chair, Strategic Planning and Nomination Committee (Suzanne.Pecore@genmills.com)
