If you have any interest in presenting an oral talk, workshop, or a poster at the society’s 2012 conference, “Managing Complexity to Drive Clarity”, the call for papers PDF is now available. The call for papers contains details on the type of papers that will be accepted, the mechanism for submission, and deadlines.
Note that all abstract submissions must be made using the online submission form. Workshop proposals should be submitted by email.

The wiki editorial board is pleased to announce the results of the second Sensory Wiki Student Competition. The first, second, and third-place winners are (1) Ellen Mahan, Pennsylvania State University, for Descriptive Skin Feel Analysis, (2) Ashley E Miller, Kansas State University, for The Sour-Bitter Confusion, and (3) Christie Ledeker, Kansas State University, for Split Plot Design.
Universities having entries among the top 10 include Cornell University, Drexel University, and University of Minnesota.

The membership was privileged to have had a slate of candidates all of whom were highly qualified for office. It made for a difficult choice. We wish to thank all candidates for generously agreeing to run and for their willingness to help lead the society.
